The oppressor
and the oppressed
The Warner Brothers cartoons of Wily E. Coyote and the Road Runner have been at it for decades.
If one looks at this ongoing conflict through modern eyes we can bring a “new and improved”[1] interpretation to this old story.
Wily E. Coyote is clearly being oppressed; the poor fellow is only trying to get a meal. No one ever remembers the last time we actually saw him eat. He is the “loser” in more ways than one.
On the other hand the Road Runner is a feathered “speed-supremacist” who clearly has the upper hand and therefore is unquestionably the oppressor. The road runner imposes survival by meritocracy and is actually starving poor Wily. Good grief!
It is imperative that there are immediate protests against the oppressive Road Runner.
Usual place, usual time, usual pay –new placards will be provided!
If one looks at this cosmic battle through the mindless lens of the woke-progressive-Marxist religion’s simplistic dichotomy of “oppressed and oppressor” we get the usual good old fashioned Marxist delusive reductionism.
Does that all seem a bit too cartoonish? Agreed.
Unfortunately it does explain the incongruencies in leftist responses between events like October 7th, 2023 and the current protests within Iran.
Let us return to truth, reason and rational thinking.
There is only one reality and it was created by our Triune God of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
John 8:31b–32 (ESV)
31 [Jesus said] … “If you abide in My Word, you are truly My disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Note: luvvie definition from the Oxford dictionary: an actor, especially one who behaves in a way that seems exaggerated and not sincere

[1] “New and improved” reminds me of an endlessly replayed old laundry detergent commercial from my youth.
